Obituary for Louis F. LaBella
BILLERICA - Louis F. LaBella, age 83, beloved husband of Cecilia (Venezia) LaBella with whom he would have celebrated 61 years of marriage in May died Sunday at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington.
He was born in Boston, October 4, 1926 son of the late Phillip and Elizabeth (Foti) LaBella and lived in Woburn before moving to Billerica 45 years ago.
Mr. LaBella served in the US Army during WW II and was Vice President of Alliance Scale in Canton, MA which sells and services retail and industrial scales.
He was a member of the Billerica Lodge of Elks, the Stoneham VFW, the Bethesda Lodge of Watertown formerly of Brighton, and was a Mason and Shriner as well as a former member of the Wilmington Lions.
Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Louis LaBella and his partner Vincent Gandolfo and Stephen LaBella and his wife Judy all of Dracut; one daughter Annette DeBisz and her husband Richard of Chelmsford; two sisters, Anne Orso of Medford and Katherine Pizzotti of Stoneham; four grandchildren, Stacy, Amy and Megan LaBella and Michelle DeBisz and one great-granddaughter, Cecilia Taucher. He was also the brother of the late Nathan LaBella.
LABELLA - Of Billerica, formerly of Woburn, March 28, Louis F. LaBella. A Memorial Blessing will be held Saturday at St. Theresa Church, 1 Grace Ave., Billerica at 9:30 a.m. followed by a celebration of his life at Foccacia Restaurant, 2 Lowell St., Wilmington, MA from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
