Obituary for Louis Jordan Jr.
Louis Jordan Jr. – Age 78, beloved husband of Georgia (Anastos) Jordan died Sunday at their home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Detroit, Michigan, December 1, 1939, a son of the late Louis Jordan Sr. and Sophie (Styka) Jordan and was raised in Michigan and moved to Billerica in 1970.
Mr. Jordan proudly served in the U.S. Army.
He was employed as a Truck Driver for Kraft-Alliance Food Service for 25 years in Peabody and retired in 2003. He was a member of the Billerica Lodge of Elks and was an avid Cribbage player, and enjoyed performing karaoke even sometimes at a competitive level. While vacationing in Maine for over 30 years, he developed close relationships with dear friends. Most important to Louie was his time spent with his wife, kids and grandchildren.
Besides his wife, Mr. Jordan is survived by his daughters, Andrea Green and her husband Greg of Beverly, Diana Regas and her husband George of Billerica and Cynthia Lebel and her husband Steve of Pelham, NH; his sons, Phillip Jordan and his wife Kim of Groton and Jeff Jordan and his wife Beth of Andover. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Larry, John and Mary Jo Jordan and grandfather of the late George Regas Jr.
JORDAN – Of Billerica, March 18, Louis Jordan Jr. Funeral Wednesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
