Obituary for Lorraine M. Hilliker
Lorraine Mary Hilliker, age 78, beloved wife of Bradford R. Hilliker to whom she was married to for 59 years died Friday at the Lowell General Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Concord, March 28, 1943, a daughter of the late Walter and Maria (Cassela) Genetti and was raised in Bedford and later moved to Billerica to raise her family.
Lorraine worked for many years at the Greenmeadow Preschool and spent countless hours volunteering her time at the Hajjar School which turned into a full time position. One of her favorite places she enjoyed was the Clearwater Campground in NH, where she enjoyed the beach and spending time with her friends.
She is survived by her children, Brad Hilliker and his wife Tricia of Billerica, Brian Hilliker of Reno, NV and William Hilliker of Billerica; her five grandchildren, Nicole, Eric, Ashley, William and Joseph Hilliker and her sister, Carol Lennon of Tewksbury. She was the mother of the late Lisa Hilliker.
All funeral arrangements will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Lorraine’s name to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, www.cff.org.
