Obituary for Loretta A. Wanamaker
Loretta A. Wanamaker – Age 76, beloved wife of John S. Wanamaker died Wednesday at the Lowell General Hospital. She was born in Malden, March 14, 1938, a daughter of the late James and Loretta (Nickerson) Shea and has lived in Billerica since 1956. One of Mrs. Wanamaker’s greatest joys was taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides her husband, Mrs. Wanamaker is survived by her daughters, Donna DoVale, Cheryl Leopold, Kathleen Marks and Ellen Bartel all of Billerica, Debra Wanamaker of Edina, MN and Gretchen Lamy of Westford; her sons, Stephen Wanamaker and Michael Wanamaker of Billerica and Sean Wanamaker of Pepperell; her sister, Doris Litch of CA; her brother, Michael Mulligan of Billerica and is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Brenda Cox. WANAMAKER – Of Billerica, Feb. 18, Loretta A. (Shea) Wanamaker, Visiting hours will be held Friday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4-7 p.m. Her funeral service will be private and held at a later date.
