Lisa (DiFillippo) Olson, age 88, beloved wife of 56 years of Frederick J. Olson, passed Saturday at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington after a period of declining health.
She was born in Ortona, Italy, July 21, 1937 a daughter of the late Ruggiero and Maria (Cannavina) DiFillippo and after immigrating to the United States she lived in Medford before moving to Billerica 56 years ago.
Lisa was a stitcher for the former Faulkner Manufacturing as well as for RV Products and was a member of the Billerica Garden Club. In her spare time she enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time with her daughter and grandchildren.
Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter, AnnaMaria Costa and her husband Brian of Salem, NH as well as her two grandchildren, Brandyn Costa and his fiancé Brianna Tilton and Brett Costa and his spouse Ashton. She was the sister of the late Bruno DiFillippo.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 11 – 12 followed by a Graveside Service at Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica at 12:30 Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
