It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Linda M. Muccini of North Billerica, Massachusetts who passed away peacefully on December 3, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn beloved family and friends.
She was born in Cambridge, October 14, 1946, a daughter of the late Edmund and Mary (Marshall) Silva and was raised in Cambridge and lived in Somerville and Medford before moving to Billerica in 2003.
Linda is survived by her daughters, Paula Cloghessy and her husband Joseph of Billerica and Gina Muccini of E. Boston; her sister Edna Bennett of Everett, her grandchildren, Ava, Cara, Gianna, Shane, Colin and her former husband, Paul Muccini. She was the sister of the late Francis DaSilva, Janice DeSilva Florence Souza, Rose Riveccio, Mary Monteiro, Adeline Donofrio, Joan Bastian and John Paul Silva.
Visiting hours will be Friday, December 6 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 12-1 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 1:30 p.m. Her burial will take place at the Fox Hill Cemetery in Billerica.
