Lillian M. McGrath – age 93, wife of the late John F. McGrath died peacefully Wednesday, October 1 at the Life Care Center in Littleton, after declining health.
She was born in Billerica, June 15, 1932, where she lived her entire life. Daughter of the late Hormandas and Helena (Rumney) Cormier.
Lillian is survived by her daughter, Eileen O’Donnell (James) of Methuen; her son, James McGrath (Paula) of Nashua, NH; her niece, Mary Cormier of Townsend and is also survived by her five grandchildren. Meaghan, Michael O'Donnell and Jessica Reedy, Amanda, Jake McGrath, three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph, Raymond and Charles Cormier, Rena Meade and Agnes Faria.
A visitation will be held Monday, October 6 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 10-11 a.m. A graveside service will be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lillian’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org
