Obituary for Lester W. Brooks
LESTER W. BROOKS Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather And Brother Lester W. Brooks – Age 66, beloved husband of Janice L. (Cummings) Brooks died unexpectedly Sunday at their home. He was born in Somerville, January 25, 1947, the son of the late Wendell A. and Jessie M. (Brewster) Brooks and lived in Medford before moving to Billerica in 1968. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Brooks was the Sales Manager for his family’s business, Wilmington Window and Door Co. for the past twenty years. He was a member of the Billerica Knights of Columbus Golf League and enjoyed playing golf at the Billerica Country Club. Besides his wife, Mr. Brooks is survived by his sons, Michael Brooks and his wife Connie of Billerica and Keith Brooks and his wife Heidi of Tewksbury; his daughter, Valerie Engel and her husband Kelsey of IL; his brothers, Merrill Brooks of NC, Richard Brooks of Everett and William Brooks of NH; his sisters, Carole Chase of Malden, Ruth Squires of NH and Beverly Crane of Malden. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren. BROOKS – Of Billerica, unexpectedly, May 26, Lester W. Brooks, Funeral Wednesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. A graveside service will be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
