Obituary for Leo T. McCormack
LEO T. McCORMACK Loving Husband, Father and Brother BILLERICA- Leo T. McCormack, age 81, beloved husband of Josephine A. (Agnese) McCormack of Billerica passed away Friday April 25 at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Winthrop on May 26, 1932, a son of the late Michael and Julia (Fitzpatrick) McCormack and has been a resident of Billerica since 1977. He was raised in Revere and graduated from Revere High School and Boston Technical School. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean War, he was honorably discharged in August of 1955. Mr. McCormack was a Mechanic Specialist with the Polaroid Corporation for 35 years until his retirement in 1995. He was the past Exalted Ruler of the Billerica Elks #2071. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by two sons, Patrick McCormack of Peabody and David McCormack of Revere; a daughter, Darlene Rich and her husband David of Lowell and two sisters Arlene McGovern of Lynnfield and Carol Manning of Revere. Funeral Wednesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. Interment in Fox Hill Cemetery Billerica.
