Obituary for Lawrence T. Cossette Sr.
LAWRENCE T. COSSETTE SR. - Age 87, husband of the late Lenola L. (Hamlin) Cossette died Wednesday at the Sawtelle Hospice House in Reading.
He was born in Cambridge, July 20, 1923, the son of the late William and Evelin (Massicotte) Cossette and lived in Cambridge before moving to Billerica 54 years ago. Mr. Cossette served in the Army Air Corps. during WW II.
He was employed at GTE Sylvania prior to his employment as a Custodian for the Billerica School Department.
Mr. Cossette is survived by his daughters, Sandra Mitchell of the Villages, FL, Linda Cossette of Hudson, NH and Cheryl Cossette of Billerica; his sons, Lawrence Cossette Jr. of Billerica and Gerald Cossette of Groton; 4 grandchildren, Robert, Kristyn and Kelley Mitchell and Lawrence Cossette III and is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
COSSETTE - Of Billerica, Aug. 25, Lawrence T. Cossette Sr. Funeral Saturday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. A graveside service will be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery, Andover Rd., Billerica at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA of Middlesex East & Visiting Nurse Hospice, 607 North Ave., Suite 17, Wakefield, MA 01880.
