
Obituary for Lawrence A. Dingle
Lawrence A. Dingle – Age 80, beloved husband of F. Elaine (Wolfe) Dingle died Wednesday at the Sawtelle Hospice House in Reading with his family at his side.
He was born in Melrose, July 6, 1938, a son of the late Lawrence E. and Emma M. (Jeffrey) Dingle and was raised in Wakefield and moved to Billerica in 1960.
Mr. Dingle proudly served in the U.S. Marines as a Lance Corporal having served in the Military Police. He was employed as a Police Officer for the Town of Billerica for 23 years, having retired in 1986. After retirement, Mr. Dingle was employed as a Real Estate Agent for Wilson – Wolfe Real Estate in Wilmington.
One of Mr. Dingle’s greatest joys was hiking in the White Mountains with his wife where they owned a home. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing golf.
Besides his wife, Mr. Dingle is survived by his son, Lawrence W. Dingle of Woburn and his five grandchildren, Lawrence Dingle and Michael, Lauren, Lindsey and Brendan Keady. He was the father of the late Karen Dingle and Sherry Keady.

Dingle, Funeral Tuesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
