Obituary for Larz A. Grymes Jr.
Larz A. Grymes Jr. – Age 81, died unexpectedly Thursday at his home. He was born in New York, New York, April 1, 1930, the son of the late Larz A. Grymes Sr. and Annette M. (Stant) Grymes and lived in Somerville before moving to Billerica in 1968. Mr. Grymes served in the Air Force during the Korean War and served for 11 years. He was employed as an Accountant for the Hayden Mica Corp. in Wilmington for 25 years having retired in 1992 and was currently employed for Cleanway Services. Mr. Grymes was a member of the Billerica Lodge of Elks. He is survived by his sons, Robert Bayles of CA, Scott Grymes and Steven Grymes of Billerica; his daughters, Robin Belanger of Billerica, Suzanne Richardson of Chelmsford and Kristen Bennett of FL; his former wife, Barbara A. (Cummings) Giles of Billerica and 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. GRYMES – Of Billerica, Dec. 8, Larz A. Grymes Jr. Funeral Monday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. A graveside service will be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Cancer Center at Lowell General Hospital, 295 Varnum Ave., Lowell, MA 01854.
