Obituary for Lanci E. Gifford
CHELMSFORD – Lanci E. Gifford, age 66, lifetime companion of Paulette Passalaqua died Wednesday at Lowell General Hospital. He was born in Boston, November 12, 1945, son of the late Bennie E. and Beatrice S. (Martocchio) Gifford and lived in Billerica prior to moving to Chelmsford in 1997. Mr. Gifford was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Hicks Building and Construction and served in the National Guard. Besides his companion he is survived by his children, Lance Gifford, Dawn Gifford, Darlene and Charles Aversa, Jeannette Park, Raymond and Tammy Gagne, Louis Gagne, Robert Gagne, Eileen and Timothy Bellerrose, Ruth and Arlindo Rocha, John and Cheryl Passalaqua, Jennifer and Eric Mosher and the late Linda Hebert; his brothers and sister, Roger, Bennie, Dale Gifford, Joyce Scuturo and the late Richard Gifford. Also survived by 29 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. GIFFORD – Of Chelmsford, formerly of Billerica, July 11, Lanci E. Gifford. Visiting hours will be held Saturday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica, from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. Relative and friends respectfully invited. A Graveside Service will be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the America Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
