Kurt R. Plumley, 57, of St. Augustine, FL formerly of Bedford, MA, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, September 19, 2022 at home. Born on August 25, 1965, the son of Marlene and Clarence Plumley, in McConnellsville, NY.
He is survived by his wife Linda Powderly Plumley and their daughter Samantha Plumley. He is also survived by his sisters Karen Nichols and Kris Plumley; nieces and nephews: Lauren Morrison, Kate Nichols, Allison Fanelli, Kara Nichols, Makena Parker, Brian Mulcahy, Jacquiline Mulcahy, Nicholas Powderly, and Catherine Powderly; great-nephew Tanner Fanelli; and the friends he considered family.
Kurt retired to Florida after making a career as a manufacturing manager. In his retirement, he channeled his creativity and craftsmanship into woodworking, creating elaborate exterior illumination projects to spread holiday spirit throughout the neighborhood. He will be remembered for sharing laughs around a fire pit with friends, listening to Jimmy Buffett and drinking rum and Cokes, with his dog, Copper, always by his side.
