Kristin M. (Kelly) Ward, age 51, wife of the late Kevin P. Ward died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, October 11, after a period of declining health.
She was born in Boston, Sept 5, 1972, and was the beloved daughter of the late Dana J. and Linda M. (Noone) Kelly.
She is survived by her daughter, Eryn Ward of Billerica; two brothers, Brian Kelly and his wife Wendy and David Kelly and his wife Laura all of Billerica as well as many beloved nieces and nephews who were all adored by their aunt.
Kristin was a life-long Billerica resident who attended Billerica Memorial High School and was a graduating member of the class of 1990. After high school, Kristin attended Lowell Hair Academy and was employed as a hair stylist at several local salons. She took great pride in making young girls look beautiful for their proms and making her elderly customers feel special. Throughout her years as a hair stylist, Kristin established many long-term friendships with her clients and co-workers in which she cherished.
Kristin was an avid Patriots fan, loved walks with her Yorkshire Terriers; LuLu and Paige and loved visiting Hampton Beach.
Kristin adored her daughter Eryn, loved attending her sporting events and was proud of her daughters many accomplishments.
Kristin was very thankful for her long-time friend William “Bill” Paquin and his mother Rita for the love and quality time they shared with her in her final years.
Kristin’s services will be private, however the family welcomes friends to celebrate Kristin’s life on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 1:00-5:00pm at the Billerica Country Club located at 51 Baldwin Road in Billerica, MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kristin’s name can be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), 199 Water Street, 11th Floor, New York, NY 10038.
