Kevin S. Shapleigh, age 58, beloved husband of Janette M. (MacKenzie) Shapleigh, died Friday May 17 at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, NH after a yearlong battle with cancer.
He was born in Saugus, June 29, 1965 a son of Violet (Careen) Shapleigh of Billerica and the late Kenneth Shapleigh and lived in Malden and Medford before moving to Billerica 24 years ago.
Kevin was the Branch Manager for Beacon Sales at their Lowell Office and in his spare time he enjoyed watching the Boston Bruins as well as vacationing which included, cruises and Las Vegas and attending concerts of his favorite hard rock bands such as Tool.
Besides his wife he is survived by one son, Kevin “KC” Shapleigh and his wife Julia Burt of Leominster; two daughters, Erin Shapleigh and Kelly Shapleigh both of Billerica; one sister, Karen Shapleigh of Billerica as well as his in-laws and many friends.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, May 22, at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 3 – 6 p.m. All other services will be held privately and at the convenience of his family.
