Kevin M. Sullivan – age 84, beloved husband of Paula M. (Correia) Sullivan died peacefully Thursday at their home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Medford, April 8, 1940, a son of the late Daniel and Margaret M. (Murphy) Sullivan and was raised in Medford and moved to Billerica in 1971.
Kevin was employed at American Airlines for 40 years and retired as a Freight Crew Chief in 2005. He was actively involved with the union. Kevin loved playing baseball growing up. He loved watching sports games and watching his granddaughters at their sporting events and was a season ticket holder to the Golden Gloves.
Besides his wife, Kevin is survived by his daughters, Jennifer McDonough and her husband Robert of Plainfield, CT, Christine Gray and her husband Roger of Chelmsford and Mary Jean McGuane and her husband Dan of Ayer; his sister-in-law, Lois Sullivan of Chelmsford and his beloved five grandchildren Winter, Isabella, Mia, Cailyn and Orlagh. He was the brother of the late Fr. Lawrence Sullivan, Daniel Sullivan, Frank Sullivan and Mary Lee.
Visiting hours will be held Sunday, September 8 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 2-5 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday at St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington at 10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org His burial will take place at the Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
