
Kevin Francis Corcoran, age 77, of Billerica passed away Thursday, May 29th peacefully with his family by his side.
He was the beloved husband of Kathy (Murphy) Corcoran with whom he recently celebrated 50 years of marriage.
Kevin served with the USMC during the Vietnam War from 1967-1969 attaining the rank of Cpl then went on to a 30 year career with Local 7 Ironworkers and was a lifelong member of the Billerica Lodge of Elks.
He leaves behind his daughters Helen Cerullo and her partner Antoun Nashef of Billerica and Katie Drakoulakos and her husband Alec of Hampton, NH; his son Kevin Corcoran Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Derry, NH; his brother, James Kelly and his wife Kris of Bangor, ME; his sister Kathy Shur and her husband Rob of Nashua, NH as well as his 8 beloved grandchildren, Haley, Helena, Brady, Isabelle, Jenna, Michael, Madelyn and Kevin.
Kevin was pre-deceased by his adopted parents, James and Helen (Sullivan) Kelly; his parents Edward and Ruth (Sullivan) Corcoran and his brother Edward Corcoran.
His kindness and love for his family will remain forever in their hearts.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday June 3, at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4 – 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, June 4, at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assn. at www.alz.org
