Obituary for Kenneth M. Smalley Jr.
Kenneth M. Smalley Jr. – Age 51, beloved husband of Janet E. (McBride) Smalley died Wednesday as the result of injuries sustained in a snowmobile accident in Milan, NH. He was born in Boston, May 29, 1960, the son of Jane M. (Steeves) Smalley of Landaff, NH and the late Kenneth M. Smalley and lived in Burlington for many years before moving to Billerica in 1991. Mr. Smalley was employed as an Electronics Engineer at International Rectifier in Leominster before being employed at Microsemi in Lawrence for the past six years. He was a former Boy Scout member of Troop 105 in Burlington and was an avid camper. He enjoyed camping with his family and friends at the Friendly Beaver Campground in New Boston, NH. Besides his wife and mother, Mr. Smalley is survived by his sons, Dimitri and Denis Smalley of Billerica; his daughter, Katie Smalley of Billerica; his brothers, Steven Smalley of Burlington and Daniel Smalley of Wilmington and his nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Daniel, Kirk, Sophia and Kyle Smalley and Christopher, Valerie and Stacey Amaral. SMALLEY – Of Billerica, by accident, Feb. 8, Kenneth M. Smalley. Visiting hours will be held Saturday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 2-5 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 5 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Smalley’s name to Wide Horizons for Children, 38 Edge Hill Rd., Waltham, MA 02451.
