Obituary for Kenneth H. Dill

Kenneth Dill of Hudson, Florida, (formerly from Tewksbury, MA and Billerica, MA) passed away on April 24, 2026 at the age of 81 after a brief illness. Husband of the late Joannie Dill (Bernardinelli) of 45 years.


Kenny was born in Boston, MA. The beloved son of the late Herbert and Helen Dill.


Kenny worked many years at various companies involving electronics. He retired in 2015 from Phoenix Controls in Acton, MA. His favorite pastime was playing the drums and he began at a very young age. He went on to play professionally with a variety of musicians and venues. Later in the years, he played alongside his wife Joannie, as she also loved music and singing. Kenny also was an avid Boston sports fan, especially the New England Patriots (his boys) since their inception in 1960.


Kenny was a favorite uncle to many of his nieces and nephews often sharing his drums and taking them to the movies during their childhood years.


Along with his love of music, movies, and video games, he greatly enjoyed a good Italian meal, often made by his wife Joannie. He would have a smile from ear-to-ear.


Kenny is survived by his twin sister Constance Fultz of Wilmington, MA (predeceased by her husband William Fultz); his sister Carolyn Podmostka of Danvers, MA (predeceased by her husband Edward Podmostka) and his brother-in-law Raymond Ball of Corinth, MS (predeceased by his wife, Nancy Ball, Kenny’s eldest sister) He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends and spent many years enjoying life alongside his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Pat and Chuck Haynes of Woburn, MA.


Graveside memorial will take place at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Road, Billerica, MA on August 27, 2026 at 12:00 noon.
