Obituary for Kenneth G. Brown

Kenneth G. Brown – age 82, beloved husband of Helen V. (White) Brown died peacefully Tuesday, May 14 at the Lowell General Hospital.


He was born in Waltham, August 22, 1941, a son of the late Harold F. and Mary E. (Fitzgerald) Brown and lived in Billerica most of his life. Ken proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era.


He was employed as a Tool Maker for General Electric for over 40 years prior to his retirement.


Besides his wife, Ken is survived by his children, Barbara Brown Niles and her husband Scott of Billerica; his son, Robert Brown of Chelmsford; his grandchildren, Pena, Timothy and Ayla; his brothers, Robert Brown of FL and William Brown of Chester, New Hampshire; his sisters, Joy Norton of Bonita Springs FL, Patty Chamberlain of Milford MA and Cindy Goddard of Shirley. He was the brother of the late Richard Brown and Priscilla Ryan.


Visiting hours will be held Sunday, May 19 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 1-3 p.m. A service with military honors will be held Monday at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Conory Ave., Bourne at 10:45 a.m., please arrive by 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Ken’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org
