Obituary for Kathryn T. (Wiitala) Duguie
Kathryn T. (Flanagan) (Wiitala) Duguie – Age 89, wife of the late Louis W. Duguie, died Sunday at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington.
She was born in Malden, September 2, 1926, a daughter of the late Joseph J. and Mary C. (Dolan) Flanagan and lived in Revere and Malden before moving to Billerica in 1968.
Mrs. Duguie is survived by her children, Carl Wiitala and his wife Ruth Ann of Billerica, Corrine Wiitala of Lowell, Wayne Wiitala and his wife Sheila of Woburn, James Wiitala and his wife Claire of Dracut, Lee Wiitala of Billerica, Louella Wiitala of Billerica, Edwin Duguie and his wife Melissa of Epping, NH and stepmother of Louis Duguie of Revere; sister of Mary Harrington of Newburyport and Edward Flanagan of W. Yarmouth. Also survived by 28 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Joseph Wiitala and sister of the late Joseph and Philip Flanagan and Ann Squires.
DUGUIE – Of Billerica, Jan. 31, Funeral Thursday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
