Obituary for Kathleen A. Lilly
BILLERICA – Kathleen Lilly, age 70, of Billerica passed away suddenly in her Nutting Lake home on Wednesday, August 11.
Kathy moved to Billerica from East Boston as a young child and was a lifelong Billerica resident. She loved animals and was known to befriend neighborhood dogs.
Kathy enjoyed the beach, particularly family trips to Old Orchard Beach, Maine.
She is survived by her son Tennis Lilly and his wife Michelle of Lawrence, her daughter Tammey Banda and her husband David of Billerica; four grandchildren, Noel Banda, Desiree DiDomenico and her husband Corey, David Lilly and Melanie Buster and her husband Brandon; two great-grandchildren, Vera DiDomenico and Jack DiDomenico; her nephew, Jamie Haberlin and his son William Haberlin as well as many extended family members. She was predeceased by her father William Hoy, her mother Doris Hoy and her sister Patricia Haberlin.
Beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother Kathy brought joy and laughter to all who know her and she will be greatly missed.
A celebration of Kathy and her sister Patty Haberlin, together again, will be held on September 12th from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Billerica Elks on 14 Webb Brook Road, Billerica, MA. Food and spirits will be provided.
