Obituary for Karen A. Favreau
Billerica – Karen A. Favreau – Age 51, beloved wife of Kyle L. Favreau died Thursday at the Boston Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was born in Lowell, February 4, 1967, a daughter of Joan M. (Desmond) Dowgos of Billerica and the late Algard F. Dowgos, she was raised in Billerica, and lived here her entire life.
Mrs. Favreau was a graduate of Billerica Memorial High School Class of 1985 and later graduated from the University of Lowell in 1991. Her greatest joy was her family and her love for rescuing dogs.
Besides her husband and mother, Mrs. Favreau is survived by her children, Kyra and Connor Favreau of Billerica; her brother, Paul Dowgos and his wife Jeanine of SC; her sister, Anne Maillet and her husband Gary of Chelmsford; her brother-in-law, Darrell Favreau and his wife Laurie of Tewksbury; her sister-in-law, Lauran Owirka and her husband Greg of Tewksbury. She was the sister of the late Robert Dowgos.
FAVREAU – June 28, Karen A. (Dowgos) Favreau, Visiting hours will be held Sunday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 1-4 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday at St. Theresa Church, 465 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bay State Dogs, 45 Follette St., Grafton, MA 01519. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. Funeral Director Dean M. Laurendeau.
