Obituary for Karen M. Donovan
Karen M. (Speranza) Donovan – Age 64, beloved wife of Robert W. Donovan died Tuesday at their home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Chelsea, December 9, 1952, a daughter of Hilda (Coleman) Speranza of Billerica and the late Albert Speranza and was raised in Chelsea before moving to Billerica 40 years ago.
Mrs. Donovan was employed in the research department for Shawmut Bank in Boston for over 15 years.
Besides her husband and mother, Mrs. Donovan is survived by her daughter, Carrie Donovan of Billerica; her son, Robert Donovan of Pelham, NH and her brother, John Speranza of Somerville.
DONOVAN – Of Billerica, Nov. 21, Karen M. (Speranza) Donovan. Her burial took place in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett and services were private. A Celebration of Karen’s Life will be held Sunday at The Chateau, 43 Middlesex Turnpike, Burlington from 1-4. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Operation Delta Dog at www.operationdeltadog.org.
