Obituary for Justin L. Keefe
Justin L. Keefe – Age 38, died unexpectedly of heart failure Wednesday at his home.
He was born in Waltham, March 6, 1982, a son of William F. and Linda A. (Foti) Keefe and lived in Billerica most of his life before moving to Lowell seven years ago.
Justin was a graduate of Billerica Memorial High School Class of 2000. He was a Captain of the Lacrosse Team, a Merrimack Valley league all-star twice, and his senior year he was a Lowell Sun All-Star First team selection. He was widely considered to be one of the best defensemen to play at Billerica High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Army with the 283rd Transportation Company and he was a Purple Heart recipient from injuries suffered in Iraqi. He was a member of the V.F.W. and volunteered at Local Heroes in Wilmington.
Besides his parents, Justin is survived by his son, Jaxson Keefe and his mother, Allie Lopez of Tewksbury, and his brothers, Jonathan Keefe of Danvers, Jeffrey Keefe of Groton, and Jared Keefe of W. Yarmouth; his sister in law, Amie Keefe of Danvers; his nephews, Kaiden and Chase Keefe and his niece, Avalynn Keefe and her mother, Jaymee Miller
