Esther Choi, 82, of North Billerica, passed away at 4:16 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2024.
Esther Choi, was born on November 9, 1942 in Seoul, South Korea, the daughter of the late Bokdong Choi and Jeongrye Lee, and the wife of Abraham Lee.
Esther Choi was wise and intelligent from an early age, excelling in her studies, and with her strong sense of responsibility and compassion, she devoted herself and contributed to her family, community, nation, church community.
Esther Choi married in 1964 and created a blessed family of one son and three daughters. She never hesitated to devote herself to her loving husband, and she poured infinite devotion and affection on her four children, and was a proud mother and true mentor to her children with love and positive energy. The family of Esther Choi and her husband, Elder Abraham Lee, began with the grace of God and became a blessed family with 15 descendants, including four children, three sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, five grandsons, two granddaughters, and one great-granddaughter.
Esther Choi was a kind and gentle person who did not hesitate to help the poor, the needy, and those in need with bright and positive energy. As a result, many people in Korea and the United States loved and followed Esther Choi. She was a senior citizen in the community who was respected by many people.
In particular, Esther Choi was a precious child of the Lord who joyfully practiced a life that feared God, and she was a precious child of the Lord who did her best to serve and care for many souls sent by God and passionately devoted herself to the ministry that honored Jesus.
Please come to the funeral service for Esther Choi and have a time to remember her devotion, love, and achievements and comfort her bereaved family. Please come and grace the occasion.
Visiting hours will be Friday, September 20th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Road, Billerica, with a prayer service at 6:15 PM. A Graveside service (burial service) will be held Saturday, September 21st at 12:30 PM at Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Road, Billerica.
