Obituary for June E. Calo
June E. (McElhinney) Calo, age 74, wife of the late Christopher Calo Sr. died Tuesday at her daughter’s home with her family by her side.
She was born in Lowell, September 15, 1947 daughter of the late Michael F. and Esther M. (Casalini) McElhinney and has been a lifelong Billerica resident.
She is survived by her children, David Calo and Katie Quinn of Epping, NH, Christopher Calo Jr. of Billerica, Tracy Calo and her husband Gary Hopkinson of Hampton, NH and James Calo of Austin, TX; her sister Carol Fletcher of Lowell; grandsons Cooper Calo of Billerica and Nicholas Calo of Austin, TX as well as her niece Debra Jamieson and her husband Jeff and their children Ryan and Josh. The family of her late brother Richard McElhinney, sister in law Sue, niece Kelly, nephews Rick and Michael of Dracut along with countless friends.
A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, March 31 at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 12:30 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Memorial contributions may be made in June’s name to the Billerica Community Pantry, P.O. Box 285, Billerica, MA 01821.
