Julie A. Kondon – age 66, died peacefully on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at the CareOne Concord Nursing Home in Concord, MA after a long battle with early-onset Alzheimer’s Disease. She was the wife of the late Dr. Peter Kondon.
Julie was born in Boston, MA on January 18, 1960. She was the daughter of her late parents and stepfather - Lawrence White and Joanne (Celeste) Freda and Fred Freda. Julie lived primarily in New York City, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts – Concord, Acton, and Ayer during her life.
Julie spent most of her career as a dental hygienist in Concord and Waltham, MA, and later enjoyed running a daycare from her home for years and being a preschool teacher up until her illness.
She is survived by her daughter, Samantha (Sam) Fonvielle, and Sam’s husband Jon; and was mother to her late son, Joseph Sexer. Julie is also survived by her siblings, Steve Freda, Dennis Freda, Cheryl Freda, Dawn Patterson, and Toni-Ann Freda, along with her nieces and nephews and large extended family that she loved dearly.
Julie is remembered for her big smile, warm and caring nature, along with her passion for golf, Boston sports, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a wonderful woman who was gone too soon and will be missed dearly.
