Obituary for Joyce A. Ahern
BILLERICA – Joyce A. (Carlin) Ahern, age 82, beloved wife of John C. Ahern, died Tuesday at the Palm Center in Chelmsford with her family by her side after a long illness.
She was born in Burlington, VT, August 24, 1934 a daughter of the late Joseph N. and Mary A. (Saulters) Carlin and lived in Burlington, VT and Rockland, MA before moving to Billerica in 1970.
Mrs. Ahern was the Manager at the former Fannie Farmer Candy shop in the Billerica Mall and more recently was an assembler at Baird Atomic in Billerica.
Besides her husband she is survived by one son, John Ahern Jr. and his wife Sherrie of Billerica; one daughter Karen Wurz and her husband Dave of PA as well as five grandchildren, Kristen, Caitlin and Colton Wurz and Stephanie and Brian Ahern.
AHERN – Of Billerica, formerly of Burlington, VT and Rockland, MA, Dec. 27. Joyce A. (Carlin) Ahern. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd. Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. It being her request there will be no visiting hours. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
