Obituary for Joseph P. Scuturio
BILLERICA - Joseph P. Scuturio, age 76, beloved husband of Doris M. (Dickie) Scuturio died Sunday at their home after a long illness. He was born in Woburn, April 5, 1936 a son of the late Antonio and Sarah (Polizie) Scuturio and lived in Chelsea and Woburn prior to moving to Billerica 48 years ago. Mr. Scuturio was a machinist for Millipore for over 20 years retiring at the age of 57 and was a self employed auto body technician. He was a member of the Billerica Lodge of Elks and the American Legion. Besides his wife he is survived by three sons, Joseph Scuturio of Lakeville, George Scuturio of and Russell Copeland both of Billerica; two daughters, Mary-Jo Crawford and her husband Brian of Billerica and Shirley Murray of Woburn; two brothers, Anthony Scuturio of FL and Robert Scuturio of Chelsea; two sisters, Nancy Griswald of Tewksbury and Agnes Getz of Saugus. He is survived by six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and was the father of the late William Scuturio. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
