Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Friend
BILLERICA – Joseph C. Hohmann Jr., age 78, beloved husband of Marie (McManus) Hohmann died Thursday at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center.
He was born in Boston, Sept. 14, 1937 a son of the late Joseph C. Sr. and Johanna (Andresen) Hohmann and lived in West Roxbury before moving to Billerica 45 years ago.
Mr. Hohmann graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Engineering and worked for the West Roxbury VA and more recently the Natick Army Labs for 20 years.
Besides his wife he is survived by their son, Brian Hohmann of Newton; their daughter, Elaine Hohmann and her husband Dave Lane of Pelham, NH; his sister Elaine Gunning of Canton, two brothers, Richard Hohmann of Framingham and Edmund Hohmann of Newton, as well as four grandchildren, Anelyse Piani-Hohmann, Ethan Piani-Hohmann, Joseph C. Hohmann III and Cailee Criger.
HOHMANN – Of Billerica, formerly of W. Roxbury, Sept. 8, Joseph C. Hohmann Jr. Funeral Monday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Mary’s Church, Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 1 – 4 p.m. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, W. Roxbury.
