Obituary for Joseph F. Holey
Joseph F. Holey – Age 91, beloved husband of Joan E. (Wall) Holey died Saturday at their home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Cambridge, March 14, 1924, a son of the late George H. and Mary S. (Foley) Holey and lived in Arlington for many years before moving to Billerica 53 years ago.
Mr. Holey proudly served in the U.S. Army during WW II and was a member of the
V.F.W. Solomon Post and the American Legion. He was employed as a Custodian at the Ditson School and later at the Marshall Middle School in Billerica having worked for over 25 years prior to his retirement.
Besides his wife, Mr. Holey is survived by his daughter, Joanne Baker of Moultonborough, NH; his sons, Daniel Holey of Nashua, NH and Timothy Holey of Acton; his grandchildren, Jenny, Jamie and Ethan. He was the father of the late Jeanette Holey and brother of the late George and Leonard Holey.
HOLEY – Of Billerica, Dec. 19, Joseph F. Holey, Funeral Wednesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 11 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
