Obituary for John Mangiasi
BILLERICA - John Mangiasi, age 96, husband of the late Grace E. (Gale) Mangiasi died Saturday at Lowell General Hospital.
He was born in Boston, April 16, 1915 a son of the late Johanne and Concetta (Costa) Mangiasi and has been a Billerica resident for over 60 years.
Mr. Mangiasi served in the US Army during WW II and worked as a carpenter before becoming the first Sr. Custodian for the Billerica Public Schools.
He was oldest living charter member of the Billerica Lodge of Elks and a former member of the Billerica Sons of Italy.
He is survived by two sons, William Mangiasi of Medford, John J. Mangiasi of Wilmington; two daughters, Rhoda C. Hann of FL and Donnamaria Mangiasi of Billerica, as well as 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Peter and Joseph Mangiasi, Concetta Franceschelli and Mary Ripaldi

Funeral Thursday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
