Obituary for John G. Cain Jr.
BURLINGTON – John G. Cain Jr., age 88, beloved husband of the late Esther (Sheehan) Cain died Sunday, February 23, 2014, at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington after a brief illness. He was born and raised in East Boston, son of the late John G. Sr. and Eileen (Monahan) Cain, later living in Arlington before moving to Burlington in 1968. Mr. Cain served in the US Navy during WW II and the Korean War. He was the Owner and President of Airfreight Specials Inc. of Revere. He is survived by two daughters, Barbara Lino and her husband John of Tewksbury and Jeanne Newcomb and her husband Gary of Billerica; four sons, John Cain III of Burlington, Patrick Cain and his wife Ruth of Billerica, Thomas Cain of Tewksbury and Robert Cain and his wife Audrey of N. Billerica; one sister, Marie Ward of AL; one brother Edward Cain of Stoughton as well as 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Charles and Patrick Cain. Cain Jr. Funeral Thursday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
