Obituary for John "Bill" Jaunbral Sr.
John “Bill” Jaunbral Sr. – age 85, beloved husband of Carol L. (Grafflin) Jaunbral died peacefully Monday at home with family by his side.

Bill was born in Boston, August 2, 1936, a son of the late John and Edna (Johnson) Jaunbral and was raised in Boston before moving to Billerica in 1959 with his wonderful wife. They enjoyed 63 years of marriage filled with many trips to Alaska, Michigan, Ohio, Maine, and Florida.

From 1954 through 1957, he served in the Marines at Camp Pendleton in California as a mechanic. Upon his military discharge, Bill was employed as an HVAC mechanic and instructor and in 2004, retired from Boston Properties in Cambridge.

As a teenager, he had the privilege of being a caddy for Rose Kennedy at the Hyannisport Golf Club. Bill enjoyed golf, hunting, and watching the Pats, the Sox, and Nascar. His great passion was snowmobiling in Maine which he shared with his many friends. He was a member of the Billerica Lodge of Elks.

Besides his wife, Bill is survived by his children, Jill Jaunbral of Anchorage, AK, Janis (Scott) Garrett of Apopka, FL, Amy Chait of South Lyon, MI, and Jack (Lina) Jaunbral of Coral Springs, FL. He is also survived by his three grandchildren (Denise, Anna, and Sam) and two great grandchildren (Josie and Isabelle). He was the brother of the late Elaine Piquette of Willoughby, OH.
