Obituary for John F. FitzPatrick
John F. “Fitzy” FitzPatrick, age 82, beloved husband of Denise M. (Dagle) FitzPatrick died Friday at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Boston, January 2, 1934. He was the son of the late John F. and Elizabeth (Teaffe) FitzPatrick and lived in Charlestown before moving to North Billerica 59 years ago.
Mr. FitzPatrick served in the US Navy. He worked for Boston Edison, The Billerica School System in the Maintenance Dept., for Boston Properties as a Building Supervisor, and was an active member of the Billerica Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his beloved wife Denise (Dagle) FitzPatrick; one son, John FitzPatrick and his wife Wendy of Sag Harbor, NY; three daughters, Denise Long and her husband Ray of Milford, NH, MaryEllen Gipson-FitzPatrick and her wife Wendy of Charlestown and Nancy Kampf and her husband Peter of Chelmsford; four brothers, Kevin FitzPatrick of RI, Brendan FitzPatrick of Jamaica Plain, Dermot FitzPatrick of Falmouth and Ronan FitzPatrick of Charlestown as well as five grandchildren, Joseph Long and his wife Sarah, Brendan Long, Danielle, Keriann and Jack FitzPatrick.

Funeral Tuesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hour will be held Monday from 4 – 7 p.m. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
