Obituary for John E. Jackson
John E. Jackson – Age 86, husband of Patricia E. (Keen) Jackson died Monday at the Woburn Nursing Center with his family at his side.
He was born in Melrose, June 4, 1934, a son of the late Red and Evelyn (Anderson) Jackson and lived in Everett and Medford before moving to Billerica 52 years ago. John proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
John was a self-employed carpenter all of his life and enjoyed golfing at the Country Club of Billerica.
Besides his wife, John is survived by his sons, John Jackson and his wife Suzette and Brian Jackson both of Hudson, NH; his brothers, David Jackson of Atkinson, NH, Philip Jackson of Lawrence and Paul Jackson of Wareham and Michael Jackson of Pembroke and his grandchildren, Zachary, Molly, Isabella and Lilianna Jackson. He was the brother of the late Earl and Richard Jackson.
His funeral arrangements will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Salvation Army, www.salvationarmyusa.org
