Obituary for John C. Fiore
John C. Fiore, age 71, beloved husband of 50 years of Joan M. (Marino) Fiore died Friday at Lowell General Hospital with his family by his side.
He was born in Somerville, November 5, 1944, a son of the late Michael and Viola (Tomasi) Fiore and lived in Somerville before moving to Billerica 45 years ago.
Mr. Fiore retired as an HR Manager from Polaroid after working there for 33 years and was an avid supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Rob Fiore and his wife Julie of Methuen; his daughters, Deborah Carver and her husband John of Billerica and Michelle Graves and her husband Frank of Tewksbury. He was also the father of the late John C. Fiore Jr.; his brothers, Michael Fiore of Malden and his wife Joni, Ralph Fiore of Billerica and his wife Debbie and Thomas Fiore of NH; his sister, Marie Mondello of East Freetown; as well as his brother-in-law and best friend Anthony “Anth” Marino and his wife Janet. Papa had seven grandchildren, Ashley, David, Emilie, Gianna, Isabella, Jake and Sophia.

Funeral Tuesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica, at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 3 – 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
