Joanne E. (Battcock) Keeler, age 81, beloved wife of the late Robert A. Keeler Sr. died Tuesday at her home.
She was born in Lowell, December 30, 1941 a daughter of the late James M. and M. Teresa (MacDonald) Battcock and has been a lifelong Billerica resident.
Prior to her retirement Joanne was employed as a secretary for MITRE Corp.
She is survived by one son Robert A. Jr. and his wife Halli of Lowell; one brother, Stephen Battcock and his wife Christine of Billerica; two sisters, Mary Kinsman and her husband Gordon of Billerica and Teresa Harrington and her husband Rich of Lowell as well as many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late April Keeler and sister of the late Michael and James Battcock.
A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, January 28 at the Westlawn Cemetery, Boston Rd., Lowell, MA at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Joslin Diabetes Center at www.joslin.org
