Obituary for Joanne E. Giordano
Joanne E. Giordano – Age 72, wife of the late John F. Giordano Jr. died Tuesday at the Lowell General Hospital.
She was born in Malden, July 3, 1943, a daughter of the late Philip and Eleanor (Lariano) Nocella and lived in Billerica for many years before retiring to Florida and Maine and then back to Billerica.
She is survived by her sons, Mark Giordano and his wife Shannon of Billerica; John Giordano III and his fiancé Anne Laurin of Lowell and Michael Giordano and his wife Michelle of Atlanta, GA; her daughter, Brenda Tonks of Dracut; her brother, Robert Nocella of NH and is survived by eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is also survived by her niece, Karen Durrance and her family and her nephew, Joe Fiorello and his family. She was the sister of the late Mary Fiorello.
GIORDANO – Of Billerica, Sept. 8, Joanne E. (Nocella) Giordano, Funeral Saturday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 3-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
