Obituary for Joan B. Coleman
JOAN B. COLEMAN - Age 75, died Tuesday, July 6 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.
She was born in Boston, February 2, 1935, the daughter of the late Henry and Marion (Drew) Lennon and lived in S. Boston before moving to Billerica 43 years ago.
Mrs. Coleman was employed in the Bakery Department at the Market Basket in N. Billerica prior to her retirement.
She is survived by her sons, Peter Coleman and his wife Susan, Stephen Coleman and his wife Margaret and Christopher Coleman all of Billerica; her daughters, Karen Price of Sudbury, Joyce O'Brien and her husband George of Billerica, Heidi LaGassie and her husband Steve of Pepperell and Gretchen Coleman and her fianc Robert Schmitt of Boston; her brother, John Lennon of Bourne; her sisters, Geraldine Abban of S. Boston and Marcia Astuto of Whitman. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Mrs. Coleman was the former wife of the late Ernest F. Coleman and sister of the late Joseph Lennon and Carol D\'Antuono.
COLEMAN - Of Billerica, July 6, Joan B. (Lennon) Coleman. A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, July 19 at St. Theresa Church, One Grace Ave., Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
