Obituary for Joan J. Arsenault
BILLERICA – Joan J. (Dalton) Arsenault, age 81, beloved wife of the late James P. Arsenault died Saturday at her home with her family by her side.
She was born in Chelsea, July 1, 1936 a daughter of the late Vincent and Beatrice (Kowalski) Dalton and lived in Chelsea before moving to Billerica in 1972.
Mrs. Arsenault was an Officer of the Bank working for Baybank in Burlington and later in Waltham. After her retirement she and her husband enjoyed wintering in Old Bridge, North Ft. Meyers, FL for many years.
Joan was known as the “Queen” at the Belly Buster Diner in Billerica where she enjoyed breakfast with family and friends but most enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by one son, James Arsenault and his wife Cheryl of Amherst, NH; three daughters, Linda Peterson and her husband Joseph of Merrimack, NH, Karen Ayer and her husband Thomas of Burlington and Audrey LaRosa of Hudson, NH; one sister Valerie LaFauci of Chelsea; one brother, John Dalton of AZ as well as eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Barbara Updike.

Funeral Wednesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 4 – 7 p.m. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
