Obituary for Joan E. Lee
Joan E. Lee – Age 73, died Monday at the Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston.
She was born in Cambridge, July 24, 1942, a daughter of the late James and Helen (Sutherby) Hunter and lived in Billerica before moving to Lowell 16 years ago.
Mrs. Lee attended Mount Trinity Academy in Watertown (Class of 1960), Wyndham Secretarial School in Boston, worked at United State Lines, M/A-Com for over 30 years and later worked as an Administrator at Middlesex Community College for ten years prior to her retirement.
She is survived by her daughter, Catherine O’Gallagher and husband Jeff Slocum of St. Louis, MO; her sons, Jonathan and wife Aerial Lee of Norman, OK and Jameson Lee of Cary, NC; her sister, Pamela Paulsen and husband Rick of Woburn and is also survived by eight grandchildren, niece and nephew and several beloved close friends.

(Hunter) Lee, Funeral Friday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation, One Bullfinch Place, Boston, MA 02114. Burial in Cambridge Cemetery.
