Obituary for Jeannette C. Fogarty
Jeannette Clare Fogarty-Age 84-cherished wife of the late Edmund M. Fogarty died Saturday, March 8 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Boston, August 31, 1929, the daughter of the late Joseph and Marion T. (Carline) Quinn and was raised in Medford before moving to Billerica 50 years ago. Mrs. Fogarty was employed as Billerica’s first Postmistress at the N. Billerica Post Office having worked for 25 years and retired in 1992. She was a member of the Postal Union and a former member of the Billerica Rotary. She is survived by her daughters, Sheila Rouine and her husband Robert, Sue Stapleton and her husband Ron and Marilyn Fogarty-Yeo all of Billerica and Jeanne Connors and her husband John of Medford; her sons, Edmund Fogarty and his wife Linda of Middleton and Shawn Fogarty of Billerica; sister of John Quinn of TX and is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. FOGARTY – Of Billerica, March 8, Jeannette Clare Fogarty, A Celebration of Her Life Mass will be held Saturday at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
