Obituary for Jeanne A. Conneely

Jeanne A. (Carey) Conneely, age 83, beloved wife of Bert M. Conneely died Friday, March 6 at Sunny Acres Nursing and Rehab in Chelmsford after a period of declining health.


She was born in Natick, February 28, 1943, a daughter of the late Paul and Gladys (Drew) Carey and lived in Belmont, Arlington and Waltham before moving to Billerica.


Prior to her retirement Jeanne worked as an EMT and private duty nurse and was a communicant of St. Irene’s Church in Carlisle.


Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, David Selenius and his companion Cindy Martin of Chelmsford and Daniel Selenius of Billerica; one daughter, Laurie Murray of Chelmsford; five grandchildren, Colleen, Jacob, Eli, Eric and Allison as well two great grandchildren and nieces, nephews and friends. She was the sister of the late Paul Carey Jr and Eleanor Olson.


Vising hours will be held Friday at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4 – 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at St. Irene Church, 181 East St., Carlisle at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org
