Obituary for Jeanmarie H. (Browne) Gaudet
Jeanmarie H. (Browne) Gaudet, age 41, beloved wife of Jeffrey A. Gaudet died Monday at Massachusetts General Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Winchester, June of 1978 a daughter of Jeanne F. (Murphy) Browne of Billerica and the late Edward L. Browne Jr. and was a lifelong resident of Billerica.
Jeanmarie was truly an inspiration to all that knew her. Nothing got in her way of living life to the fullest. Her life was full of God's blessings and nothing short of miraculous. Jeanmarie never stopped fighting and her remarkable doctors were always amazed by her ability to defy the odds. Her smile and laughter were contagious. She always looked to make the people around her laugh with her quick-witted and unique sense of humor.
Jeanmarie's greatest pleasure came from spending time with her family and her tiny dog, Faith. She had a passion for all types of music and loved to sing. She enjoyed trips to the ocean, spending time on Lake Winnipesaukee, having backyard fires with her family and friends, taking motorcycle or convertible rides and going to concerts. One of her favorite things to do was going to the casinos to play Blackjack.
Jeanmarie with her husband, family, friends and volunteers, took joy in setting up their annual Christmas light show at her home in Billerica that benefits the Jellybean Foundation.
Besides her husband and mother she is survived by her sisters; Jennifer Grech and her husband Sal and Jaime Reska and her husband Michael all of Billerica as well as her five nieces and nephews, Edward, Lauren and Danielle Grech, Angela Reska and James Gaudet.
May you always walk in sunshine
and God’s love around you flow, for
the happiness you gave us, no one
will ever know. It broke our hearts
to lose you, but you did not go
alone, a part of us went with you
the day God called you home.
A million times we’ve needed you,
a million times we’ve cried.
If love could only have saved you,
You never would have died.
Visiting hours will be held Friday at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 3 – 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mass General Hospital. www.massgeneral.org or to the Jellybean Foundation, www.jelly-bean-foundation.org
