Obituary for Janice O. Powers
BILLERCA – Janice O. (McMaster) Powers, age 73, beloved wife of James Powers, died Thursday at the Life Care Center of the Merrimack Valley after a long illness. She was born in Cambridge, January 5, 1945 a daughter of Claire B. (Lebossie) McMaster of Somerville and the late William E. Mc Master. Mrs. Powers lived in Somerville prior to moving to Billerica 42 years ago and was an active member of St. Theresa Church in Billerica. Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter, Lynn Powers and her companion Bob Shippie both of Billerica; one brother, William McMaster of Naples, FL and four sisters, Carol Jennison of Milton, Nancy DiRusso of Brockton, Gail Chisholm and Judy Soucy both of Somerville. Funeral Monday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
