Janet C. Miller – age 63, beloved wife of Maurice R. Miller Jr. died peacefully Friday, February 27 at her mother’s home in Billerica.
She was born in Arlington, January 21, 1963, a daughter of Linda (Suprenant) Scalese of Billerica and the late Joseph Scalese and was raised in Billerica and moved to Wakefield and has lived in Kingston, NH for the past 21 years.
Janet proudly served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves for 32 years having obtained the rank of Captain. She was employed as a Registered Nurse having worked at the Federal Medical Center Devens in Ayer for 20 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Wakefield Lodge of Elks.
Besides her husband and mother, Janet is survived by her son, Paul Turcotte of Wisconsin; her brother, Joseph Scalese of Billerica and her sisters, Joanne Nunes of Dracut and Justine Anderson of Cass Lake, Minnesota.
Janet’s funeral arrangements will be private.
