Obituary for Janet A. Erickson
Janet A. Erickson – Age 88, wife of the late John F. Erickson died peacefully Monday at the Highpoint Hospice House in Haverhill with her family at her side.
She was born in Omaha, Nebraska, January 9, 1933, a daughter of the late George W. and Florence (Rickman) Barr and lived in Billerica for many years before moving to Florida and most recently moved back to Billerica three years ago.
Besides spending time with her family and friends, Janet had a passion for gardening, sneaking snacks to her grand pups and all things Christmas.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Norman and her husband Scott of Billerica, her sons, John Erickson Jr. and his wife Debra of Lutz, FL and Timothy Erickson and his wife Debbie of Billerica. She is also survived by her beloved six grandchildren, Nicole, Michael, Kyle, Madison-Lee, John III, and Julianna that she truly treasured and adored.
Her funeral will be held Saturday from the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4-7 p.m. Burial will take place at the Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
